A donation from each Nga Tuna - Short Finned Eel (Anguilla Obscura)) sold goes to Working Waters Trust, helping protect New Zealand's fresh water fish.

These hand-built longboards are our take on the retro skateboard shape. Made in New Zealand using recycled French oak wine barrels sourced from a number of awesome local wineries. Hand-built in an old cherry farm's pack house, each deck takes several hours to craft. (Read more about our recent Kickstarter campaign here)
Michel Tuffery

A keen historian, active participance in contemporary culture is at the core of Tuffery’s multi- disciplinary art practice, where he holds a deep commitment not just to the peoples of the Pacific but to the environment. His artwork is curated within major international exhibitions and public collections and has quali ed him to undertake numerous residencies throughout the USA, Europe, United Kingdom, Asia, India and Australia.

Our collaboration is lead by our mutual passion for conservation and the environment with each new laser etched board being paired with a cause.

The symbolisms aren’t just an aesthetic, they narrate - by design - the oldest forms and thinking from our Ali’i, a signal to us that the kauapa hasn’t changed and that collectively through the social responsibility we remain the guardians of our environment."
