CKNZ was set up by wonderful people to provide fun events for kids with a focus on conservation and wildlife education (such as beach/river/town clean ups and club events with a focus on different animals - like sharks!). We along with CKNZ, hope to inspire passionate conservationists for the future.
CKNZ are based in Picton - a club and charitable trust founded by one of our favourite humans and animal activists, Tash Luxton.
Illustrator, ceramicist and all-round lovely human being, Sophie Holt was born in NZ and raised in the Netherlands. She spent her childhood climbing trees, building huts, making her own fairytales and drawing (a kindred spirit!!).
Animals, monsters and bold patterns become the icons of her ceramic pieces and prints. Her cheeky and graphic style appeals to all ages alike. With boundless energy, colour, and the occasional naughty word, they speak to the kid in us all. We love the transition of art into our daily life as Soph makes some kick ass illustrated cups perfect for our morning coffee (or later-on gin).
