CKNZ was set up by wonderful people to provide fun events for kids with a focus on conservation and wildlife education (such as beach/river/town clean ups and club events with a focus on different animals - like sharks!). We along with CKNZ, hope to inspire passionate conservationists for the future.
CKNZ are based in Picton - a club and charitable trust founded by one of our favourite humans and animal activists, Tash Luxton.
Summer 2015 brought about the first collaboration between The Paper Rain Project & the young / super talented hand behind Illustrate which saw extremely detailed wild animals adorning our boards. Inspired by a trip to India and the pattern-making in that culture, Toby set about making Zen-like creations within his animal illustrations.
Although Toby is on the opposite side of the Globe, his designs are finding themselves etched into the bamboo, maple and french oak surfaces of our boards & are now taking residence across the Globe with travellers & buyers Worldwide.
