Project Jonah are dedicated to the protection of whales, dolphins and seals and the oceans they call home. Everyday Kiwis give up their time through Project Jonah’s rescue, action and protection programs to follow an imporant vision. A vision to create a world where marine animals are respected and protected. This what we want to get behind!

Fine Arts Graduate of the University of Canterbury, Josh Bashford was mentored by the in uential Samoan artist, Fatu Fa’u. His unique wood cutting style involves hours of mark making on MDF from which he often creates just a single print. His work investigates the ability to portray themes such as faith, family and landscape. You can get lost in Josh’s patterns, then surprised by their hidden features - as whales, birds and other natural shapes.

Josh is a keen fisherman and lives in Little River near Christchurch, New Zealand.
