'Coast' was hand-painted by Amrit Kaur using mixed media on one of our in-house crafted macrocarpa art boards.

Amrit Kaur explains the story behind her board: "This artwork embodies the natural beauty of New Zealand, drawing inspiration from the country's stunning landscapes. The shapes, marks, and colors within this piece subtly evoke the surrounding scenery. It incorporates black sand sourced directly from Karioitahi Beach, infusing our daily lives with the memories and gratitude of moments spent at the beach. Serving as a reminder of tranquility, it encourages us to take a step back from the artificial and reconnect with the simplicity of nature."

Crafted from sustainably and locally grown Macrocarpa, this board was designed and made by The Paper Rain Project in Marlborough, New Zealand.

This board is a wall-hanging artwork and comes equipped with a fitting suitable for a standard picture hook or nail.

For each sustainably-grown tree felled, an average of 200 native trees are planted in it’s place. Thank you for helping to regenerate native forests in New Zealand.
